Adam McDaid is a cinematographer whose work spans award-winning feature films, commercials, documentaries, and music videos. A graduate of the American Film Institute's MFA program in Cinematography, Adam has built a career that has taken him around the world — shooting stories across genres and continents with equal parts craft and curiosity. His most recent feature, Bilyarista, is a gritty, character-driven drama set in the shadowy world of billiards and underground gambling, shot on location in Manila. On the television side, his credits include two Freeform series — the critically acclaimed Single Drunk Female, named one of the New York Times' Best TV Shows of 2023, and Everything's Trash— as well as the Netflix documentary series Killer Sally, HBO's Pause with Sam Jay, and the Peacock limited series John Wayne Gacy: Devil in Disguise. Among his proudest achievements is Here Alone, which took home the Audience Award for Best Feature at the 2016 Tribeca Film Festival. When not behind the camera, you'll find Adam hunting down the perfect slice of pizza, shooting street photography, or chilling in Brooklyn with his wife and two cats.
